Address locking

Address confirmation from backerkit will be going out today. You will have 1 final chance to change your address before locking them in. Once you have locked in that info that will be what gets printed onto your shipping label, so make sure it is 100% correct! 

Note: international shipping has been extended recently. We are not exactly sure how long it can take to get the dice overseas, but we have heard reports of up to as long as 4 months. Domestic shipping shouldn't be too much of a hurdle though.

Wow. After coming home from being hospitalized again, this is what I come back to. I'm disgusted. The fact that it went from "don't burn yourself out" "Be healthy we can wait for dice" to "I don't think there are any health problems" and "report this to the FBI". Do you want to see my MRIs? Do you need to see the 3 legions on my brain stem? Or maybe the report on how my ocular nerves were affected? During an attack, it is extremely hard to look at a digital screen. To make it worse my wife has been having seizures and neurologist are unable to find out why. We have been in and out of hospitals all month. But that doesn't matter if you want dice huh? In hindsight this is my fault, for trying to make everyone happy and listening to people with no experience. Mid campaign I mentioned having the dice made by a factory, since the amount was MASSIVE for a 2 person at home team. Many people insisted that we make them ourselves under the notion that dice from a factory wouldn't be "handmade". Well sorry to inform you but even wholesale factories make "handmade" dice. Backers insisted that rather than allowing a factory with the labor force and equipment to get the order done quickly, that we make all of them ourselves. 1000s of dice sets made by 2 people in a sunroom over the winter......makes tons of sense. Last time I try to make everyone happy. I know it's not everyone, but to those who said you don't want dice made by a factory, and also are complaining now. Deal with it. I see no reason to be "nice" about it anymore as you all have changed that thought as well. Humans are disgusting. I have multiple doctors appointments coming in the near future. Not like that matters to anyone. They will hold us up a bit but we are still trying to fulfill the order.

Apologies everyone! I have been dealing with a few flare ups here and there, and getting to the doctor I need is a little difficult due to shortages of the doctor i need. During these times looking at screens or typing is quite difficult :/ But on a lighter note we have made a large push to complete the last bits of the order! We are now separating dice by order as we currently only have them sorted by color set. Once all orders have been separated and packaged, we will do a mass ship out, sending all boxes at the same time! We will send out the notice to finalize your shipping address through backerkit within the next few days. Once all shipping addresses have been confirmed we move into finalizing the project!

Hello all! Wanted to give you all a quick update on a few different things, starting with production

Production 

We are making good progress, but ran into an unforeseen issue. Resin does NOT like to cure in the cold! Our work room is set up in our sunroom, so essentially outside. This has increased our curing process times by a significant amount. We are still able to bring them inside and let them cure but the timeframe has just been increased. We will be working through these conditions until the project is complete

Medical Update

I have been doing a few different appointments, but with the shortage of doctors and medical workers in general, the appointments have a very long time in between. Due to this I don't see the medical appointments as something that will hold us back. Ive been feeling fine lately, but direct sunlight makes me nauseated, so I need to wear shades to do things like drive during the day. Not too bad

Retail Update

After a painstaking process, we have decided on a location!! We will be signing contracts toward the end of Feb. The process will ake around 5-6 months to finalize, but we are aiming to open on 7/1 for business!! Thank you all for supporting this dream of ours!

Future Plans

we will be running another Kickstarter around the end of Feb. as well! I will be closing this one and marking it complete very soon. You will still have the chance to change your address if needed through backerkit though.  We will be doing this second run to replenish the funds used to produces this campaign, and to purchase the location. We want to be able to start operating with a sufficient amount in the business account, to hire employees and have that "emergency" cash. The next campaign will feature some gemstone designs and some resin designs, and by popular demand we have updated our logo and moved it to the 6 face of the 6 sided die, rather than the 20 face. So we will now show "natural" 20s! I would love to see you all there as well!

Update on production

Production is coming along well! My wife and I have made a huge amount of molds over the past month and we are currently producing color sets! But due to the nature of the production process we do not believe that we will make the Dec. shipping date. All of you have been very supportive, and we appreciate your understanding! I will have multiple medical appointments coming in the near future so that will inevitably hold us up for some time as well. We are expecting more around February for delivery, but will update if that timeline changes.

Retail Store Update

We are currently looking at retail spaces that we can lease AFTER delivering the current order of dice, this way we do not overload ourselves any more than we already are. But we are excited to say that we WILL be opening a store in mid 2022! 

Future Kickstarter Plans

We will be launching a new Kickstarter campaign with More dice styles, an updated logo, natural 20s on the d20, and a more streamlined project timeline. From the opening of a Kickstarter campaign it takes roughly 90 days to lock in orders, we will line this up with the delivery of this campaign to where we deliver the dice right before orders are locked for the next campaign. We will have help producing the next run of dice since we will also be opening the retail store, so fulfillment will also be much quicker for the next campaign! We appreciate all of the support and kind words all of you have given! and we hope all of you enjoy your adventures using our dice soon!
